Give the Gift of Picnik
By surprisingly popular request, you can now give anyone the gift of Picnik Premium! Just click one of our shiny new gift buttons from inside Picnik or, better yet, click this link to get started. You’ll be able to either email your lucky someone a special code, or print out a custom, super snazzy card for that extra touch. Last minute gifty-goodness awaits.
We’ve also snuck in some great new Premium effects: Orton-ish, Neon, and 1960′s. Orton-ish mimics the sleekly ethereal look of the Orton Technique. Neon makes even the most boring photo into a neon sign work of art. And 1960′s will have you thinking you’re digging through an old shoebox of forgotten photos.
And that’s not all! Here at Picnik World Headquarters, located in Seattle, the team sometimes gets a wee bit sick of the rain. Not to mention the howling wind. Yes, the legends are true. To combat this, some choose to scoot off to sunnier climes (you know who you are), while the rest come up with new effects! Thus, we’re happy to introduce Snow. Now anyone, even Seattleites, can have a perfect White Christmas.
Happy Holidays from Team Picnik!

i was wondering if you could buy little gift cards for presents and then give the to people with already pre-paid of the premium picnik. that way it would be easier instead of using a credit card if we dont have that ability.

Can you get a picnik gift card WITHOUT a credit card or a paypal or anything like that ?
November 11th, 2008 at 10:42 pm
You cannot pay by check or cash, their payment methods are credit cards or Paypal. If your wanting to use cash, or your bank account go with PayPal, or get a friend to buy it for you and you pay them back.

okay where do you get a picnik gift code
November 30th, 2008 at 2:17 pm
Well why do you need a giftcard or pay to do cool things? I just think its unfair to those who’s parents dont let them pay for things like that. Dont you? I swear its not fair and trust me i have ALOT of people who i dont even know that agree with me.

Dear Ali,
Yes, your clear explanation and hyperlink make it very easy to purchase a gift code however I have one simple question for you:
HOW TO GET THE GIFT CODE?
January 14th, 2009 at 9:59 am
i agree with everyone else. somepeople do not have the means of paying for these things but would like to use them anyway. I think picnik would be used alot more if things like ‘ vibrance ‘ and all those things only available to people who pay for premium were available to everyone. i think you should stop making people pay for half of the features and make everything FREE! and i want a reply to this .

can you get a premiun FREE????
December 12th, 2010 at 11:24 am
Why do we need “premium”? i my parents won’t get it for me, it’s quite unfair to the people who can’t afford it or who aren’t aloud to have it because one really good effects, stickers, touchups, ect., are the premium things. ASDFGHJKL;
it’s not cool.
i <3 this website, but yeah. premium features are unfair.
December 16th, 2010 at 8:13 am
Premium features are “Premium” and require payment for a reason. Websites like these cost money to keep them up and running….not to mention paying the employees that work on websites like this. If you can’t afford to pay $25 for a years worth of features, then how in the heck do you have a computer with internet? Quit being so cheap and selfish. Its RUDE to ask for things for free. Would you create an awesome website that you and employees spend hours and hours creating just to let the world use it and you not get any credit for it. Doubtful.
Way to go Picnik! You have created a popular, quality site and you deserve some credit. Keep it up!

i think picnik should go all free for a week or something, even a day. its actually the best site for editing photos on, but so many people can’t afford/arent allowed to have a premium account, and that sucks for us. so could you please think about having free premium picnik for everybody sometime soon? thanks. :)
